While most news concerning rapper Tyga have been about his relationship with Kylie Jenner, March 7th was different. The rapper took to twitter to pay tribute to the late Tupac Shakur. Many thought the tweet was a comparison of talent between the two but Tyga quickly cleared the air, appearing sincere.

The rapper although growing up fairly well never met his own father. His father is currently serving a life sentence for murder. He would go on to say that Tupac taught him more than his own biological father among other things he felt like being inspired, and motivated by the late west coast phenomenon.

If that wasn’t sentimental enough Tyga lastly posted scripts in a conversation of both him and the father he never knew.
