Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are being accused by ESPN investigators of operating a charity scam!
According to reports, eight years of tax records revealed that Odom’s charity, Cathy’s Kids has not given any money to cancer-related causes since its creation in 2004.
They’ve raised an estimated $2.2 million.
ESPN reports that its 2011 tax returns show Cathy’s Kids is $256,000 in debt, mostly due to a loan Odom made to the charity, according to his business manager Lester Knispel.
When approached in by Outside the Lines, Odom responded to the charity’s spending habits by saying, “It’s my money.” Odom or Kardashian have yet to publicly comment on the investigation.
Khloe is fighting back against the claims.
On her blog Khloe insisted that Odom has personally donated millions and no money ever “went to help Lamar personally or any member of his family.”
