The “A.P.C. KANYE” capsule collection from the collaborate feats of designer Jean Touitou and hip-hop artist Kanye West is finally available as France celebrates Bastille Day. The collection started when Touitou first learned of West and his simplistic aesthetics, from there it turned into a endless debate about fashion concepts util the collection took a form.
watered down to quality and fit, the A.P.C. x Kanye capsule collection consists of just t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts (short and long), and denim, each put through the rigors of Ye’s insight on style. There are the Hooded Sweatshirt and Hooded Sweatshirt II in 100% cotton compact fleece, made with just enough “give” to be loosely fitted. The Hip Hop T-Shirt features the same fit but in 100% Egyptian cotton instead with “A.P.C. KANYE” screen-printed on the neckline.OH! and then there are the Kanye Jeans in either Indigo or Stonewashed Indigo, coming straight from premium Japanese denim, the jeans feature a tapered cut, low waist fit, along with button fly and selvedge trim in red.
Though the collection’s first run is mostly sold out online, you can still place “pre-order” purchases for all the items once they’re re-stock. If you just can’t wait, however, the collection is also available at select A.P.C. retail locations worldwide.
