Demi Lovato has unveiled the music video for her latest single “Heart Attack” a.k.a. what to do when your pen explodes in class!
The Chris Applebaum directed clip features a fresh-faced Demi singing her heart out while dripping in black ink.
“Heart Attack” is the first single off the singer’s upcoming second album Demi which is set to be released May 14.
At the beginning of the video we see Demi rocking some toned down make up and pulled back hair…oh and two hands dripping in black ink/paint.
As the clip progresses we see the former Disney star in different outfits and sets as well as different states of messiness!
There are moments in the video where the Kelly Clarkson comparison is undeniable, especially during scenes with her whole band. She definitely looks a lot stronger and edgier than usual (you’ve got to be strong to work with Simon Cowell).
Overall the video isn’t not bad at all, they did a great job. I won’t even bring up the scene where Demi’s basically in black face (3:21)… oops.
What did you think about Demi’s new video? Do you like the new look?
