Camila Cabello performed new songs at the Pepsi Summerfest on June 25th in Chicago to promote her song “Crying in the Club”. She has an excellent stage presence and really wowed the audience with songs they will soon play on repeat when her debut LP “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving,” is released later this year.
She began the set with the new tune “OMG,” which can be expected to be heard bumping in the club when it is officially released.
After throwing off her jacket, she proceeded with “Havana,” which is produced by Pharrell Williams and a homage to her Cuban lineage. “Havana” is full of the latino references that are very popular with other chart toppers right now.
She then throws on a guitar to perform the song “I’ll Never Be The Same,” which she says is very special to her. Really all these songs are special, as anyone of them could be pop radio’s next most played jams.
Along with “Crying in the Club,” this year she has also released two other songs. One of them is “Know No Better” features Major Lazer, Travis Scott, and Quavo and the other is “I Have Questions.”
Cabello is still on tour, so there is time to hear these songs live for yourself before the release. Her next tour date is on July 20th in San Jose with Bruno Mars at the SAP Center. The tour continues with dates until the end of August.
