Ryan Lochte, why won’t you go away?
The Olympic gold medalist has recreated Nirvana’s (or as Ryan calls them Nirc-Vana’s) famous Nevermind album cover for ESPN Magazine’s music issue…
So why is this atrocity happening? Well ESPN Magazine is releasing a music issue in which athletes are featured recreating famous music album covers.
“If you look at the baby, he’s definitely happy in the water. And that’s what I am,” Lochte explains in an interview for the magazine. “He’s chasing after a dollar bill. So he’s always on the grind.”
Yes, he actually said that.
“Hopefully everyone’s reaction when they see it, they’ll be like, dang, look at that guy. I honestly think I nailed the shot.”
Well you definitely have the blank stare down and your intelligence is likely on par with that of a baby… so you’re right, you totally nailed it.
While I may detest everything Ryan Lochte, I will admit that he’s good for a few laughs. Who doesn’t like a dancing monkey?
Luckily for us, ESPN has put together a behind the scenes video of Ryan’s photo shoot.
Check out the genius that is Ryan Lochte below…
